Foy’s Lake is a human-made lake in Chittagong, Bangladesh with its spectacular views from the hilltop and existing rides and water activities. Created in 1924 by constructing a dam across the stream that came down from the hills in the northern part of Chittagong, the lake followed the name of Mr. Foy who renew the rest of the work.
The purpose of creating an artificial lake was to provide water to the residents of railway colony. It was named after Mr Foy who was a Railway engineer and believed to materialize the project. Pahartali was basically a railway town with workshop, yard and shed.
The lake is surrounded by mountains and forest, running a boat space in between. People can enjoy spectacular mountain view while taking the boat ride. Apart from there is also space for different ride like roller coster, magic carpet, swings, slide and many more.
The lake is open from 10:00Am and ticket pricing start from 150tk for adult.
