Fanney Khan is an upcoming Indian Hindi musical comedy film, directed by Atul Manjrekar. In this film Fanney Khan is a struggling singer who wants to make his daughter a big name in music world. Anil Kapoor acts as Fanney Khan, with a dream in his eyes and a tune in his heart. He plays as father to a teenage daughter who is fat but has musical inspirations. Fanney Khan always tells her she shouldn’t worry about her weight but just be herself. While Aishwarya Rai plays the role of a gorgeous singer with Rajkummar Rao as her love interest. Finally she participate to a singing contests in which the awkward and overweight girl struggles to belt out a tune and achieved great success. It is an official remake of the Belgian film and the film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 3 August.
