Avengers: Endgame
Sequel movie Avengers: Endgame arriving in April. In the meantime, here’s a spoiler-free look at everything you need to know about the new Avengers movie before it arrives. The Infinity War sequel was initially set for release on 3rd May 2019, but the first trailer for Endgame announced that the movie would actually be released on 26th April 2019.
The curse of La Llorona
Only in cinemas in 2019, this timeless legends comes to terrifying life in new line cinema’s “the curse of La Llorona”. In life, she drowned her children in a jealous rage, throwing herself in the churning river after them as she wept in pain. Now her tears are eternal. They are lethal, and those who hear her death call in the night are doomed. The movie release date is set for Friday, April 19, 2019. This will be a Nationwide in theatres release.
Under the Silver Lake
A disenchanted man discovers a mysterious woman, then who vanished from his life. The man then embarks on a surreal quest to find her, following clues that lead him into the wild conspiracies of Los Angeles. The film was originally scheduled for release this past June, but after a mixed response at the Cannes Film Festival, A24 decided to push the movie to December. A24 has changed course once again and will instead be releasing the film on April 19, 2019, nearly a year after it made its world premiere at Cannes.
Ad Astra
Roy McBride wants to figure out why his father’s mission to find extra-terrestrial life on Neptune failed, setting the stage for the main events of Ad Astra. The most realistic depiction of space travel that’s been put in a movie and we can find that after its release on May 24, 2019.
King of Monsters
Five years after Gareth Edwards’s Godzilla, the King of Monsters returns. While the original reboot film had some bright spots, it ultimately collapsed under a sloppy script and a weak connection to its more human elements. King of the Monsters was originally set for release on June 8, 2018, before being delayed to March 22, 2019, only to be delayed once more and set for release to American theatres on May 31, 2019.
