Emiliano Sala Death: Man Arrested on Suspicion of Manslaughter

Argentine footballer Emiliano Sala died in a plane crash along with the pilot David Ibbotson in January, following the incident a 64 years age man has been arrested from North Yorkshire on suspicion of manslaughter.
Investigating the unlawful act the Simon Huxter, Detective Inspector of Dorset Police said in a statement that,
“As a result of our enquiries we have today, Wednesday 19 June 2019, arrested a 64-year-old man from the North Yorkshire area on suspicion of manslaughter by an unlawful act,”
“He is assisting with our enquiries and has been released from custody under investigation.”
The 28-year-old young striker died when a small plane taking him from France to the UK crashed in the English Channel.
The player died in 21st January but his dead body was found after 6 months on 6th February from wreckage. Sala’s body was brought to Portland Port in Dorset on 7 February after a private search, but the pilot is still missing.
“We have carried out a wide-ranging investigation into the circumstances of the death of Mr Sala and continue to work with partner agencies including the Civil Aviation Authority,” said DI Simon Huxte.
Lana recently signed English Premier League club Cardiff City from French side Nantes and was heading to the Welsh city in a single-turbine aircraft after saying farewell to his former teammates when the accident occurred.
A preliminary inquest hearing has been told that Sala died of head and trunk injuries.
