`Ebar Pujo – Sobar Pujo’ in Kolkata & Howrah brings smiles to under-privileged children

Marking the occasion of Durga Puja in Kolkata, one of the leading bank of India along with `Rotaract Calcutta Mid South’ presented more than 1200 new clothes to the under-resourced schools and orphanages in the presence of ace cricketer Mr. Sourav Ganguly and other prominent Tollywood celebrities at a five star city hotel at Kolkata.
The initiative titled ‘Ebar Pujo. Sobar Pujo was conducted in 23 branches of that Bank across Kolkata and Howrah from September 03, 2018 to September 25, 2018. During this 3 weeks drive, the Bank’s branches organized special events and workshops to urge, encourage and motivate business communities, professionals, and entrepreneurs to donate new clothes.

The Bank has committed its support and extended its efforts in the area of community outreach and development, under varied focus areas ranging from women empowerment and education to water and sanitation.
