Canadian rapper Drake has blamed Parq Casino in Vancouver on Saturday after a night out there, for racially profiling him by being depriving from the gaming facility.
The chart-topping rapper called the casino as “worst run business I have ever witnessed” on his Instagram stories around 3:30 a.m. because of the treatment for not allowing him to gamble. Drake has more 50 million followers and his post fired with his follower’s comment.
The casino did not deny the accusation but the casino first said it was “actively investigating” the incident and after that they apologized.
“We are operating in one of the most complex, highly regulated industries and are always looking to better our communication and customer service,” Joe Brunini, casino president said in a statement and added, “We are required to adhere to strict regulations with respect to gaming in British Columbia, We are committed to having a productive conversation to resolve this issue.”
“Committed to having a productive conversation to resolve this issue, We categorically stand against racism of any kind. We are committed to providing a safe, secure and enjoyable experience for all.” In the wake of Drake’s allegations said Brunini.
The rapper is in Vancouver ahead of Saturday and Sunday tour dates at Rogers Arena and made a surprise appearance at Fortune Sound Club earlier Saturday morning.
