Donald Trump’s Lawyer Advise Him to Refusing Interview with Russia Investigation

Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani has warned Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign all through the 2016 presidential election, that the White House is on the subject of refusing to accept an interview with the president.
An investigation into potential connections between Mr Trump’s presidential campaign and Russian election meddling efforts, led by Mr Mueller, has steadily drawn closer to the President even as Mr Trump denounces the probe as politically warped and unfounded. So far, Mr Mueller has indicted multiple former Trump campaign aides.
Requested whether they had decided on whether or not Trump should participate in an interview with the inquiry, he answered: “We have not determined he will not sit down with Mueller, but we are close to that.”
The lawyer and former mayor of New York, who is a long-standing friend of Trump’s, walked back that recommendation a little on Sunday. He stated the White House did not require proof of a criminal deed but at least some factual basis supporting suspicion of a crime.
On Cohen, Giuliani stated “I don’t know what he has to flip over. I do know there’s no evidence of wrongdoing with President Trump. So we are very comfortable. If he believes it’s in his best interests to cooperate, God bless him.”
