Disney released a new teaser clip for the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge theme park land on Saturday where legendary composer John Williams will provide an original musical score.
On Saturday they released a teaser of the original music, aptly called “Theme from Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge,” featuring footage of The London Symphony Orchestra recording the theme in a studio as well as some of the park’s attractions under construction.
In a statement, Disney said there will be even more music for the 14-acre park expansions from Williams, who is also working on director J.J. Abrams’ Episode IX for next December.
In April last year, a teaser shared details of a “remote village”, known as Black Spire, is a remote trading outpost tucked amid the rocky spikes of an ancient petrified forest which will form part of the parks.
“The remote village was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes, but the prominence of the outpost has been bypassed with the rise of hyperspace travel”, the video said.
Sources reported that Disney is spending a measly 24 billion dollars to deliver next year’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, an expansion of their Disneyland and Disney World attractions that bring fans to their favorite far, far away galaxy.
The Theme park is set to open in 2019 and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be based across 14 acres at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, and at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
