Disney+ to comes to the UK very soon – here’s what you need to know!

Disney’s highly anticipated streaming service launches in the UK and a handful of other countries on 24th March. After great success back in November, this new streaming titan will bring a massive amount of beloved and new TV and films to our screens.

Disney+ offers an awful lot. Classic Disney and Pixar films, recently vanished from other streaming services, are set to return alongside National Geographic and the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) collection. Most importantly, Disney+ brings all the Star Wars films and animated TV shows together at last.

But like its competitors, Disney+ produces several new shows too. Many of these are TV tie-ins to the MCU and will include big-screen characters such as Wanda, Falcon, Winter Soldier and Loki. Perhaps most anticipated of all, the UK will finally see ‘baby Yoda’ in The Mandalorian, the hit Star Wars live-action TV series that has already renewed for a second season.

Even better, all this is at a very reasonable price – if you sign up in time. UK viewers can pay £49.99 for a years’ subscription, which works out to just over £4 a month. Afterwards, the options are an annual £59.99 or a monthly £5.99. These prices match Netlfix’s most basic plan and undercut Amazon Prime.

Disney+ is sure to take the streaming world by storm.
