A Spectacular 30 Bands to perform at Dhaka Summer Con Concert on July 13-15 July
[July 8 2023, Dhaka]: The excitement of Dhaka Summer Con is now at its peak. The country’s biggest pop culture festival “Dhaka Summer Con 2023” is going to be held for three days in a row at Hall 3 and Hall 4 of ICCB on July 13, 14 and 15 with various entertainment elements and activities. The country’s promising event management and Public Relations Company MediaQuest Bangladesh is going to organize this festival.
In total 30 bands will perform on one stage of ‘Dhaka Summer Con 2023 for 3 days. On the first day 13th July, 8 exclusive bands will perform on are- ‘Old Dhaka Diaries’, ‘Firoze Jong’, ‘Indalo’, ‘Bangla Five’, ‘Level Five’, ‘Owned’, ‘Odd Signature’, ‘Dads in the Park’. Apart from this, Hathirpool Sessions, K-Pop Performance, Rayhan Islam Shuvro and others will be performing.
On the second day, ‘Messianic Era’, ‘Naive’, ‘Encore’, ‘Subconscious’, ‘Aftermath’, ‘Shonar Bangla Circus’, ‘Ashes’, ‘Brahmaputra’, ‘Cryptic Fate’ and ‘Artcell’ will perform. Also there will be an amazing rap battle as a special attraction.
The last day’s performance on 15th July includes the bands- ‘AK Rahul’, ‘Apekkhik’, ‘Mechanix’, ‘Karnival’, ‘Black’, ‘Arbovirus’, ‘Avoid Rafa’ and ‘Warfaze’. Also, there will be Black Zang and Shafayat’s mind-blowing hip-hop performances.
The festival boasts an assortment of captivating events, such as the highly anticipated cosplay competition, exhilarating concerts, engaging comic book exhibitions, immersive experience zones, dedicated kids’ zones, exceptional performances from hip hop and K-pop, thrilling gaming activities, tantalizing food zones, and thought-provoking panel discussions.
In a groundbreaking move, Dhaka Summer Con recently released its official theme song, titled “Escape.” It is the first-ever theme song composed exclusively for a pop culture festival in our country. The eminent heavy metal band, Mechanix, collaborated with superstar musicians Shishir Ahmed, Raef Al Hasan Rafa, and Black Zang to create this unforgettable pop culture anthem for the event.
Tariqul Sumon, the Convener of Dhaka Summer Con 2023 and co-founder of MediaQuest Bangladesh, expressed his excitement, stating, ‘We are proud to organize this all-encompassing festival for the first time, providing a platform for diverse forms of entertainment.
