Comedian Samantha Bee’s Show Loses Sponsors over Ivanka Trump Insult

The television host and comedian Samantha Bee has already lost two advertisers named Autotrader and State Farm for her show “Full Frontal” as she made a vulgar phrase at American President’s first daughter Ivanka Trump during a Wednesday broadcast.
While highlighting the Trump administration’s questionable treatment of undocumented children on her show, at one point she called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c**t” for her inaction on the issue.
“The comments expressed by Samantha Bee were offensive and unacceptable and do not reflect the views of our company”, said the advertising company Autotrader in a statement “As a result, we have suspended our sponsorship of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee”.
“We have asked TBS to suspend our advertising in the program and are reviewing any future placements. We constantly review programs to ensure alignment to our programming guidelines and brand values. ”, said State Farm while slamming the host and cancel the sponsorship.
Bee apologized to Ivanka Trump and to her viewers for the remarks shortly after Autotrader announced its decision, calling her use of the expletive “inappropriate and inexcusable”.
“I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night,” Bee said in a statement.
Her straightforward comment followed a stern demand from White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders which demanded an apology from the TBS host, who had used an obscenity and made suggestive comments about President Trump’s daughter on Wednesday.
“Those words should not have been aired. It was our mistake too, and we regret it”, said TBS, which airs Bee’s show.
