Climate Change: Tourism Industry in a Threat

Every single person of the world bound to accept the facts of climate change. This is not an ignorable issue and to fight this problem each and every individual should work, from the root level to top.
The changing climate affecting the biodiversity, some country whose economy is based on tourism and fisheries are facing a serious threat of existence. In south Asia Maldives a country facing this kind of problem, others in South Asia also affected but climate change and sea level rising could lead the submerge of Maldives into the sea.
Tourism and Fisheries are the backbones of Maldivian economy. Small-scale tourism would be affected more. Large-scale tourism in the Maldives mostly run by foreign direct investments, if climate change causes serious damage they are also going to affect but they have alternative to invests in another country, but for the small-scale tourism agencies are run by locals and they would not have an option. They are encouraging the sustainable tourism which is environment-friendly too. They have already started using solar energy for power generation.
Coral bleaching also hampers the eco-system of the ocean; it kills the corals and other lives on the particular area of the Atolls. Maldives government also concerned about climate change and for world attention, former Nashid government arranged their meeting under the ocean.
