Choto Sona Masjid is a excellent historic place to visit which located at Gaud in Rajshahi City. But the place is more known on the side of the international borders zero point. Choto Sona Masjid was fine architectural specimen of the Sultante Period.
Choto Sona Masjid has fifteen gilded domes including three chauchala domes Its intricate stone carvings and decoration is the main attractions of this Choto Sona Mosque. The mosque is situated about 3 kilometres south of the Kotwali Gate. The most important ornamentation of the mosque is to be seen on the frontal courtyard of the mosque. e premise of the mosque is on an overall area of 42 m from east to west and 43.5 m from north to south. There are many hotels to stay, such as Government Rest House, Johrul Cottage, Hotel Al-Hera, Hotel Al-Nahid etc.
Chapai Nawabganj is approximately 302 km away from Dhaka. After reaching in Chapai Nawabganj onetake rickshaw to reach there or any public transport. It will take less or more than one hour from Kotwali gate.
