Very much a product of the US street music scene Chief Keef has built a reputation as a bit of a golden boy in rap circles. With an early Billboard top ten hit to his credit, mixed by none other than Kanye West this is one musician and producer who has kicked on with his career.
Mansion Music serves up everything that fans will want while offering enough to widen that all important audience appeal. There is a hint that Keef’s creativity is starting to wane a little with some repetitiveness showing in places. Even so this is a fine album that deserves to do well.
