Black Zang’s Ferrari Folk’ is to be released soon!

Black Zang’s new song is coming Friday at 8 PM

[24 February, Dhaka 2023]: After dropping the song ‘Bangla Hype’ in 2021, which set a standard for Bangla hip-hop audio production also with a stunning video, Black Zang is back with another single titled, ‘Ferrari Folk’. He himself is the lyricist of this song. The song is directed by MOGZ (L.A.) and mixed and mastered by Ardonyx. The song is going to be released on Black Zang’s YouTube channel at 8 pm on Friday.

The concept behind the song ‘Ferrari Folk’ focuses on people who work and play hard. Hip Hop in Bangladesh seems easy but in reality, it is tough for a hip-hop artist to earn what he deserves. With this song, Black Zang portrays leaving behind violence and hatred and moving forward. In one of the lines of the song, ‘Batpari Korle Uporwala Tikay Rakhto Na’, meant that you and the almighty know about the actions and people will gossip about it because they think the journey is fabricated. Black Zang acknowledges those who make their way through the gossip and hatred toward rising artists.

Black Zang said about this upcoming new song, ‘This new rap will be a unique addition to the hip-hop world. This song is for all rap fans not only in Bangladesh but all over the world. An artist’s journey has been portrayed in this song. I hope the ‘Ferrari Folk’ audience will like it very much.’

He added, ‘A number of new singles will also be released. I have already started working on the next song after ‘Ferrari Folk’. I will work on several joint ventures during the Eid period. There is a surprise for rap genre fans. We are forming a band that is going to be one of the prominent hip-hop bands in Bangladesh. There are also several performances planned with this band. I also have plans for concerts. This year, it is expected to be crowded with various commercial works as well.’

The inspiration behind the instrumental was a TV drama of the 90s, the sample was taken from there and the beat was produced by MOGZ. MOGZ’s vision was to blend the two traditional sounds, Bangla tribal singing & drum and bass. Black Zang and MOGZ’s blend is an essence of Bangla Hiphop’s sound and that’s the beauty of hip-hop music, the ability to recreate something from nothing. Ferrari Folk will be released on Black Zang’s YouTube channel on Friday, February 24th, with the audio released on popular streaming platforms.
