Billie Eilish is Still Refusing to “Check on” Social Media

Today’s one of the most well-known pop singers is Billie Eilish. She continues saying not to “Check on” social media anymore. Whereas, all over social media and the music industry, she has a great influence!

Billie Eilish said, “I trust everything I read on social media”. She stated again that she doesn’t want to use social media furthermore.

The singer-songwriter previously addressed her use of social media. Where she claimed that she avoided it in the past due to remarks made regarding her physical appearance.

She explained in her recent teaser some causes for avoiding social media. This forthcoming speech on the podcast was for ‘Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend’.

Reasons Why Billie Eilish Continues Not To “Check on” Social Media

“I don’t look at it anymore, she said. I deleted it from my cellphone, which is a significant accomplishment for me. ‘Because buddy, you didn’t grow up with the internet. I was not an iPad baby, being Thankful, but for me, it was a huge part of my upbringing. In fact, I believe that I grew up when the internet was just right—it wasn’t overused. I had a happy upbringing, and I was always doing things”

She got turned off by seeing footage of herself online as she rose in fame, though.

“I use the internet frequently. Merely continued to do what I have been doing over the years without making any changes. More and more of what I watch on YouTube and other online content gets to come to focus on me. Ugh, it sucks. It bothers me,” she added.

“The other aspect of the internet that horrifies me is how dumb it makes everyone. I trust whatever I read online. I have evidence that’s not all true—nearly none of it is true. And I know it’s foolish, so I shouldn’t act on it” she said again.

Norah Jones will open the ‘Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend’ podcast on March 6. Japanese Breakfast will follow her on March 13, Neil Young on March 15, Chris Martin of Coldplay on March 20. And Eilish as well as Finneas on March 27.
