The human body is a magnificent creation, and what better way is there to fully understand and appreciate it than by visiting an exhibition developed specifically to provide fascinating insight into the wonders of human specimens?
Real Bodies The Exhibition is an event that will take visitors on a journey of intrigue and knowledge. Held at the NEC in Birmingham, this world-renowned exhibition will feature more than 200 real anatomical human specimens during its takeover at the West Midlands hotspot this month.
NEC and Imagine Exhibitions have announced that this showcase will run on Friday 8 June for a limited engagement ending Sunday 19 August 2018.
This is your chance to find out more about the human body through physiology, culture and emotion  – prepare to be amazed! The event displays real human bodies that have been perfectly preserved in a bid to delve into the depths of both inner and outer beauty and soul.
The event covers the entire human experience, from the first breath to the last, and answers remarkable questions such as, “What are we made of?” and “Where do we come from?”.
President and CEO of Imagine Exhibitions Tom Zaller commented: “While the exhibition moves through the anatomical systems of the human body, it also looks far beyond the physical aspects,” he said.
“It explores the symbolic and cultural significance that bodily systems – such as the nervous system and circulatory system – have had from the beginning of time, and questions why we do what we do and how we do it. Whether or not a visitor is spiritual, they’ll emerge from Real Bodies The Exhibition with a sense of greater connection – a connection to the whole of humanity.”
This must-see event of the summer will comprise 10 compelling galleries, each of which provide a unique perspective on human anatomy and its importance across the world.
Educational and thought-provoking, this incredible exhibition pushes boundaries whilst merging the forms of art, science and emotion.
