Agent 007 Could Ever be a Woman!

Let’s just think about it, what if your favorite character from James Bond series movie is going to be a female agent. It would have been a strong step to stereotypes of the patriarchal society. Recently producer Barbara Broccoli commented” Let’s just create more female characters and make the story fit those female characters.”
And it is in the air that James 007 could ever be a woman as the iconic role of 007 will never be played by a woman. In an interview with the Guardian Broccoli, who has been the executive producer of the iconic spy series for almost 25 years, threw cold water over the idea of gender-swapping the legendary character in a new interview. In the same interview, Broccoli also responded to modern critics who claim that Bond would be viewed as a male chauvinist in 2018. Although not admitting this, Broccoli concedes the character will never be seen as a feminist.
“It was written in the 50s, so there’s certain things in [Bond’s] DNA that are probably not goanna change”, she explained.
Well it is also confirmed that Bond is a male character as in the story the character was written as a male. She confirmed saying that’” He’s a male character. He was written as a male and I think he’ll probably stay as a male. “And that’s fine. We don’t have to turn male characters into women. Let’s just create more female characters and make the story fit those female characters” she added.
