Some well-known musical artists including biggest hip-hop artists will participate in the festival, as well as food trucks, live art, a craft market and more. Additionally, Afropunk strives to raise multicultural awareness. Its diverse cultural showcase has allowed for the festival to build its masses to 60,000 attendees. It also highlighted black punk artists around the United States, the festival has grown into a global movement.
