Adele has responded to new music which is coming from Childish Gambino. She said she “adores” the artist, while praising his “greatness”.
Childish Gambino released a video for new track ‘This is America’ at the weekend and it marked the Atlanta creator’s first new material since 2016’s Grammy-nominated album ‘Awaken My Love!’.
Hiro Muri directed the political video and sees Glover cause chaotic scenes before dancing around them. Glover released the video during his appearance on Saturday Night Live, where he served as both the host and musical guest.
Adele wrote in her caption on Instagram where she shared photos from her recent Titanic-themed 30th birthday party: “Childish Gambino how the hell do you have time to offer us so much greatness on so many platforms. I adore you.”
Aka musician and actor Donald Glover plans to retire his Childish Gambino project. However, he is also reportedly working on new music with Chance The Rapper.
He has also announced a Childish Gambino tour with Rae Sremmurd. Glover will perform during September in Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Houston, Dallas, Inglewood, Oakland, Seattle and Vancouver.
Glover recently revealed his thoughts on the music industry, saying that “no one has good intentions”.
