Is it me or is DC hitting hard? I believe they are, and I suppose my beliefs are true as the facts never lie. Although ‘Shazam!’ wasn’t the best-grossing DCEU film it was a commercial success bagging in a gross – profit of £283 million. Oh, and do I need to mention ‘Joker’? The film was on a winning streak, it still is- and it’s still hauling in profit at such a rate that when it leaves theatres will have made over £621 million.
So, hopes are high for DC’s next movie inline ‘Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.’ Not much is known about the movie given the fact that it’s due to be released on 7th February 2020 (United Kingdom), but below are the things we do know.
Who Is The Villain? 
Black Mask
You may not be familiar with this Gotham city crime lord, as he hasn’t appeared in any other DC movie – but don’t be fooled. He is a criminal mastermind, very wealthy, and has an innumerable amount of resources at his disposal. So he’s almost like a bad Bruce Wayne.
Who Is The Other Villain? 
Victor Zsasz… or just Zsasz… or Mr. Zsasz
Unlike Black Mask, this villain has already made an appearance, on the small screen. He made his appearance in the DC television series ‘Gotham’ but birds of prey will give him the opportunity to appear on the big screen. I guess now we can see either bigger scenes of him bewitched as he butchers beings for pleasure.
What Certificate Is The Movie?
R- Rated (Age 15 plus)
Harley Quinn appeals to so many people, young and old, but unfortunately those too young will have to miss out on the action. This confirmed rating seems to be following in the same footsteps as Joker. Will it be as triumphant? We’ll soon see.
When Does The Movie Take Place?
After ‘Suicide Squad’
Even though it takes place after the movie Suicide Squad, there’s not much of a gap between the two. Saying this, it does seem that Harley Quinn is very much by herself, a single woman with no ‘puddin.’ It’s not for certain that Harley Quinn and the Joker are completely rid of their connection, but they’re certainly not going to be ‘pumpkin pie’ and ‘puddin.’
