Chimbuk Hill

Chimbuk hill is the third highest mountain in Bangladesh which is located in Bandarban is the most familiar tourist spot. It is 26 kilometers away from Bandarban Sadar. Chimbuk hill is approximately 2500 feet high above the sea level.
The hill gives an extraordinary view from it’s top. One can have the feeling of floating over the clouds. The huge horizon of zigzag hills seem like waves of a sea. In a sunny day, one can see the cloud shades over the hills. The huge horizon of zigzag hills seem like waves of a sea. It will be charming to ride in a jeep. While jeep is moving through the various native villages, their simplicity in human expression will compel to think about the ancestors struggle to maintain existence. One can visit the nearby tribal village, can taste fresh seasonal fruits and enjoy the charming simplicity of tribal people.
There are several ways to reach at Bandarban. It will take around 9-10 hours to reach at the town from Dhaka. To reach the Chimbuk hill using the Micro Bus, or any privately rental cars. Tourists have to take permission from the Army or Police camp, but those are just for formalities. It will take around 1 to 1.5 hours to reach the Chimbuk hill from the town depending upon the weather.
