It’s interesting to see a new musical genre or sub-genre evolves as artists take the base material and run with it. Here R L Grime also known as Clockwork has given the street smart sound a bit of a makeover and come up with something burnished if not entirely polished.
This is Grime but with shine. Part of the LA electronic music collective Wedidit R L Grime has clearly used his first album Void as a foundation and built on it with greater variety and a little experimentation. The result is an uber cool collection of tunes with just an odd wobble direction wise. Expect great things in the future.
