Social Media is powerful. For a great number of us, checking Facebook, or Twitter, or Instagram is almost a daily occurrence. It’s easy to overlook these apps we use and not realize the somewhat dark underside of them. The Social Dilemma brings some interesting ideas to the public attention, namely the idea that if a product is free, it probably means you’re the product, an idea that translates very firmly to social media.
