Yungblud Releases New Music Video Entirely From Lockdown

The musician Yungblud has shared the video for his latest single ‘Weird’. Tara Pilkington reports.

Filmed entirely from lockdown in the singer’s Los Angeles home, the video was been made with his three-person quarantine crew and cost a total of just $100.

Alongside work on his second album, Yungblud has been working on a new YouTube Originals weekly series, Stay Home With: Yungblud, which follows the artist as he lives under quarantine at a rental apartment in Los Angeles with his manager, videographer and two bandmates.

In the first episode of Stay Home With Yungblud, he details his quarantined life and offers behind-the-scenes footage of the “Weird!” video shoot. In the video, he also encourages fans to donate to No Kids Hungry.

Prior to the release of his latest track, YungBlud was one of the artists who featured on the ‘Live Lounge Allstars’ cover of Foo Fighters‘ ‘Times Like These’.
