The New York star Tekashi 6ix9ine was set to release an album ‘Dummy Boy’ on November 23, which has been postponed after the rapper and his former team was arrested on firearms and racketeering charges.
An instragram post has confirmed the news that the album release date has been postponed and the new date has not been announced yet. “Due to circumstances beyond our control we have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy until further notice.”
The album is featuring Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Bobby Shmurda, Lil Baby, A Boogie wit Da Hoodie, Anuel AA, Gunna, DJ Spin King, and Trife Drew. However, the album will no longer drop on its initial release date because of his current legal situation according to DJ Akademiks.
“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s ‘Dummy Boy’ until further notice,” Tekashi associate posted on his official Instagram page.
Hernandez was arrested on November 18 for multiple reasons and two of those charges see him facing the maximum penalty of life in prison and with his bail hearing canceled, Tekashi 6ix9ine will spend another week in Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.
50 cent has savagely reacted after this news published and said, “My son got picked up, I told him don’t call me! Sh*t. The Feds on you fool. Call ya momma. Positive vibes only.”
“Daniel Hernandez is completely innocent of all charges being brought against him, an entertainer who portrays a ‘gangster image’ to promote his music does not make him a member of an enterprise,” said attorney Lance Lazzaro.
6ix9ine has become a commercial force to be reckoned with over the past year. His mounting legal troubles seem to have thwarted the plan, as evidenced by the album’s postponement.
