‘Hate it or Love it’?
We can truly say that we loved the 50 Cent gig!
The Birmingham show proved to be a super-cool, energetic party with an amazing mix of tracks superbly performed by the rap king 50 Cent.
DJ Chubby Chub was first on the stage and got the crowds pumped with his awesome song selection, playing banger after RNB banger.
Lethal Bizzle was up next as a support act and further added to the line-up with his effortlessly cool dance moves and top grime tracks (‘Flex’ and ‘Fester Skank’ were particularly popular song choices).
Bizzle turned it up a notch when he requested the audience to form a mosh pit in the middle of the floor – needless to say, many of the fans in the crowd were happy to get involved in the action!
A short wait after Lethal Bizzle and we were incredibly excited when 50 stormed onto the stage, instantly commanding the scene with his swagger and style.
Although the gig was in aid of the 20th anniversary of Fiddy’s debut album, ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin”, 50 Cent & G-Unit treated the crowds to many of his best hits, some from that particular studio album and others from his later works.
‘In Da Club’, ‘Candy Shop’, ‘Just A Lil Bit’ and ‘Window Shopper’ were just a few examples of the tunes that got all of the fans shrieking in delight.
This was a brilliant show and 50 Cent really did impress the masses. He sounded just as good live as he does on the radio / television, and he kept everyone stoked, track after track.
It is safe to say that, after a break from singing to focus on his acting career, 50 Cent is firmly back on the musical radar.
