5 People Shot Dead at Suntrust Bank: Florida

An armed man randomly fired at Suntrust bank in Florida on Wednesday afternoon, that killed atleast five people.
The shooter called the Sebring Police himself to report the incident of shooting the people inside the bank about 80 miles southeast of Tampa before surrender. The shooter forced the people to the floor and began shooting.
After arriving their they tried to negotiate with the gunman from outside the bank, according to the sheriff officials. The suspect “eventually surrendered” and in custody. Authorities identified the suspect as 21-year-old Zephen Xaver.
“Obviously, this is an individual who needs to face very swift and exacting justice,” said DeSantis.
Avon Park Correctional Institution, the Florida Department of Corrections said Xaver was employed as a prison guard learner on Nov. 2 and surrendered on Jan. 9. He had no control history, FDOC said.
“Today’s been a tragic day in our community,” saying this Karl Hoglund, Chief Sebring Police added, “After an assessment of the scene we were sorry to learn that we have at least five victims, people who were senselessly murdered as a result of his act in this bank.”
“The people of Florida stand with the community here in light of this tragic circumstance,” saying this Gov. Ron DeSantis added, “I’ve asked FDLE to provide whatever resources we can at the state level to assist with the investigation and, obviously, this is an individual that needs to face very swift and exacting justice.”
Police did not disclose any specific motive behind the crime.
