PM Boris Johnson Survives the Motion

As lawmakers approach a no-confidence motion, the Tory leader, Boris Johnson, has come under criticism from his own MPs. The Prime Minister addressed Conservative MPs, appealing to them not to vote against him in the next vote. He said that he is asking everyone for support tonight because he knows how much he with others can achieve. Johnson survives this time. But the question is: how long can he be around?

On Sunday, Mr. Johnson was notified that he would face the vote as a consequence of Tory’s dissatisfaction with the lockdown-violating parties in Downing Street and his government’s orientation. Though he managed this time, could he be able to survive the increasing wrath of the people?

What a spectacle of a ruling party. They are preoccupied with themselves and their professions, not with issues that are important to the people. Including the time of cost-of-living crisis.

Johnson is merely trying to campaign, constantly shifting the subject, and generating cultural and political schisms only for his own benefit, at a time of financial crisis is faltering, inflation is skyrocketing, and development is weak.

Mr. Johnson’s supporters believed that he would stay in his position even if a large number of Tory MPs declined to support him in Friday night’s vote. Mr. Johnson might be re-elected with a single vote, notwithstanding such a big uprising would cause the authority harm, particularly with two by-elections to take place on June 23.

Johnson is a political leader clinging to power, and most people would argue that his role is to assist people to deal with the cost-of-living problem, which he is not addressing because he is already preoccupied.

Johnson has breached the law, misled the Parliament, and diverted the UK government’s attention away from pressing matters, such as the cost-of-living issue as well as the long-term harm created by Brexit.
