Pulitzer Prize-winning author Ayad Akhtar published the book on 8th of September. The book is mixture of family drama, social essay, and picaresque adventure. The book focuses on the relationship of a father and a son also the country they both call home. The book is a bold and beautifully composed work of fiction. The book portrays the American culture and history and politics from the viewpoint of an ‘outsider.’

The book is set to publish on 29th September which focuses on an interesting twist, the traditional “hero goes to magic school” concept. The story is about a school names “Scholomance” where survival is more important than any letter grade. A school with no teachers and no grades, no one is allowed to make friends. The school is a dangerous place for all the students except the protagonist.

“One by One” is a thriller/mystery about a corporate staff retreat at a ski chalet that goes horribly awry. A serial killer puts the power and choices in the hands of the public by broadcasting on the internet. The killer asks the viewers, whome to kill which more horrific manner of death.
