Travis Barker Files Lawsuit as His Blink-182 Tour Cancels Due to Medical Issues

Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has filed two lawsuits after a car crash and a botched medical procedure where technicians were unable to find a vein and stuck him at least 40 times in the arms with a dirty needle, causing him to suffer nerve damage and develop a staph infection, prevented him from joining the upcoming tour.
According to Barker’s lawsuit, his health issues began after receiving a routine MRI at the Medical Imaging Center in Santa Monica, California.
The drummer, 42, was involved in a car accident in July, when his black Mercedes collided with a school bus that did not have any children in it at the time.
Additionally, Barker has filed a separate lawsuit against the school bus driver who crashed into his vehicle in Calabasas, California in July. Barker’s 14-year-old son, who riding with his dad at the time of the accident, is also part of the lawsuit.
‘Due to this situation it is with great regret that the Blink 182 ‘Kings of the Weekend’ Las Vegas residency dates this weekend must be rescheduled.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Blink 182 have cancelled all their upcoming tour dates due to Travis Barker’s ongoing medical issues.
“Medical issues have sidelined Travis per doctors’ orders,“Trav’s medical team anticipated that he would be well enough by fall to tour but after recent checkups they were not able to clear him in time for the scheduled run of date”, said the band.
