The Turning is an upcoming American supernatural horror film, written by Carey W. Hayes, Chad Hayes, and Jade Bartlett which is scheduled to be released on January 24, 2020. The film is a dream project of the filmmaker, Steven Spielberg and started working on the film in March 2016.
The film opens with A young governess who is hired by a man who has become responsible for his young nephew and niece after the deaths of their parents. The newly appointed nanny Kate is charged with the care of two disturbed orphans, Flora and Miles. Quickly though, she discovers that both the children and the house are harboring dark secrets and things may not be as they appear. The movie will be released by Universal Pictures.
