The Miliputs Releases ‘Kotha Hey’

Emerging Folk-Rock band The Miliputs has released their latest Bengali Folk song ‘Kotha Hey’. Dipto Paul Reports.

The song ‘Kotha Hey’ is originally a creation of Fakir Lalon Shah in which The Miliputs added some taste of electronic music and some classical fusion.

This song is a collaboration of different artists including Sugata Palodhi on bass, Debmalya, and Debojyoti on guitars.

Nabid Salehin Niloy from Bangladesh worked on mix and mastering of the song and Debmalya has completed all the music arrangements.

By sharing the song on her FaceBook wall Sharoni Poddar, vocalist of the band wrote, “This song has moved me to the core, and I ended up recording it during this lockdown. Debmalya and I have worked for days on it and finally, this is how we represent it. Do listen to the song and share your thoughts.”

“We have been working on this song for a long time. We have done a lot of experiments with this song,” added Sharoni.

Aritraa Sengupta who is the leading dancers of Tanushree Shankar’s dance troupe will be seen in the music video with her amazing dance moves.

The song is available on all national music platforms.
