The London Festival of British Railway Modelling

Calling all train lovers big and small! If you’re looking for a day out, then look no further than the Capital’s leading model railway show.

Each year the event, which attracts over 10,000 visitors, showcases over 40 working layouts (huge working trainsets handcrafted by various enthusiasts), more than 120 trade & society stands including big name favourites such as Bachmann, Hornby, Hattons & Rails and a fantastic selection of live demonstrations.

If you’re bringing the family head to the dedicated children’s area for:
> Kits to make and take home – Materials kindly supplied by Dapol, Metcalfe & Eileen’s Emporium
> A colouring competition with a Hornby Junior Paddington Bear train set prize.
> A layout quiz with a Hornby Highland Rambler train set prize.

Whilst you’re at the show make sure you inspire your little ones with the best views of everything the show has to offer, hire them a step stool and encourage them to let their imaginations run wild!

Alexandra Palace offers free parking and a free shuttle bus running for those coming from Woodgreen Underground station. Adult entry on the door is £13.00, Child (5-16) £6.50, and Family (2 adults, 3 children) £39.00.

The show is open from 10am – 5pm on Saturday, and 10am – 4.30pm on Sunday.
