This book follows a savvy TV crime reporter who inadvertently attracts the attention of an unforgiving serial killer who believes that they are connected because of their shared interest in death. This thriller is well written and very readable – chapters are relatively short and the text is easy to follow, which contributes to its status as a page-turner – and the heroine, Eve, is a fierce feminine with real sass. The characters are well-developed, even if the blossoming relationship between Eve and her colleague is somewhat predictable, and the storyline twists and turns, keeping the reader immersed in the text as the plot unravels. Creative and creepy in some parts, this is a gory novel that will please many a horror/thriller fan. Definitely worth a read.
