Velo Birmingham & Midlands is back with a brand new name, date and route. Take on 100 miles of closed road cycling with 17,000 others through Birmingham and the Midlands on Sunday 12 May 2019. Starting in Birmingham city centre, the new route will take you through historical Coventry, passing the cobbled streets by the Cathedral and onto stunning countryside views. A perfect challenge for a seasoned rider, a cycling newbie or someone in search of an adventure. When you join #TeamNSPCC you will become part of a team of over 200 others supporting us in our fight for every childhood. You will receive your own cycling jersey, a bespoke training day run by our training partners Full Potential and lots of support on the day including a cheer point to give you the biggest cheers around the course, a sports massage and food when you complete this amazing challenge. 1 in 20 children in the UK have been sexually abused. Together we can rebuild children’s lives and prevent abuse from ruining any more.
