Swiss parliament gets first Bangladeshi MP

Bangladeshi origin Sultana Khan has become the primary lawmaker of Its in Switzerland together with her election to the Federal Assembly from Zurich.

Her election was confirmed through the results of voting for the Swiss national parliament Federal Assembly.

Sultana Khan, was born in the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka’s Mirpur area. Her ancestral home is in Rajbari. Sultana’s father is SM Rustam Ali and her mother is Razia Khatun.
