Grime star Stormzy has announced he is embarking on a world tour in 2020 on Instragram, in support of his upcoming album ‘Heavy Is The Head’.
Stormzy will perform in almost every continent, as the 55-dates take place across Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, North America, UK, Ireland and Africa. Stormzy has also started a collaboration with JAY-Z.
“We were all in the studio writing, me, Ed Sheeran, and JAY-Z,” said Stormzy.
Last week, Stormzy released his Ed Sheeran and Burna Boy collaboration “Own It,” the latest Heavy Is the Head single, following on from “Vossi Bop,” “Wiley Flow,” and “Crown.”
Stormzy will perform a series of shows in Asia before heading to Australia and New Zealand. North American gigs include Los Angeles, Atlanta, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Brooklyn and more. Stormzy will head to Africa after the UK for four dates in October 2020.
Tickets will go on sale on 6 December at 9am local time.
