American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer Stevland Hardaway Morris who is well known as Stevie Wonder has announced on Saturday that he is going to have kidney transplant later in this year so he will take a break from music.
The singer shares details about his break at the British Summer Time Hyde Park music festival that before his surgery he will perform in three more shows.
He is planning to do the surgery in September.
“I’m all good, I’m all good, all good, I have a donor and it’s all good,” saying this the singer revealed his surgery and added “I want you to know, I came here to give you my love and thank you for your love.”
Although fans were caught off guard by the announcement, greeted the news with a loud, supportive cheer.
“You ain’t got to hear no rumors,I told you what’s up. I am good. I love you and God bless you.”
The main common reason for the transplant is kidney failure or end-stage chronic kidney disease.
Though the singer did not give anyadditional information about his kidney illness but he is having a big problem. According to the The Detroit Free Press reported Wednesday that Wonder had been battling “a serious but manageable health issue” and has been travelling overseas with a medical team on deck.
In spite of his fitness worries, Wonder has stored a vigorous time table appearing all around the international, inclusive of an appearance on the memorial for slain rapper Nipsey Hussle. He stays one of the most decorated artists in track records, having been nominated for a whopping seventy four Grammys.
