The hit show ‘Snowpiercer’ has been confirmed for a second season on Netflix. The dystopian series is a TV spin-off of Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 thriller. Anika Khan reports.
The series is an adaptation of 1982’s French graphic novel ‘Le Transperceneige’ by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand, and Jean-Marc Rochette and depicts a post-apocalyptic world. The first season of the show premiered last May and is now set to return for season 2 on Netflix.
The new teaser which has been released by Netflix reintroduces us to some old characters from the first season. Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs are back as Melanie and Layton. Game of Thrones star, Sean Bean is also back as the vengeful antagonist in this series Netflix is yet to announce the release dates.
