‘Six: The Musical’ Set to Reopen With Socially Distanced Shows

After being closed for six months, ‘Six: The Musical’ is opening the West End back up. Shows will be socially distanced and will run at the Lyric Theatre.

When>from 14th Nov 2020 – 31st Jan 2021

The musical retells the stories of Henry VIII’s six wives in the style of a pop concert. ‘Six’ was first shown at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. After a successful run, the musical took to the West End in 2018.

‘Six’ features 14 original songs, one of which went viral on TikTok last year. The song ‘Don’t Lose ‘Ur Head’ was used to create memes and introduce a whole new load of people to the musical.

The Lyric Theatre have announced a series of precautions to make performances COVID safe. Shows will have a reduced capacity and contactless tickets will be distributed. The theatre will also have a precise cleaning regime and will be testing people’s temperatures. They will also be using the NHS Track and Trace scheme and requiring audience members to wear face masks in certain areas.

Can’t make it to London to see your new favourite musical? ‘Six: The Musical’ is also running in Salford from 27th Nov 2020 – 31st Jan 2021. Tickets for Salford are available here.
