Sam Smith has released a new single ‘Diamonds’ on 17th September which is the lead song of his upcoming album. Puza Snigdha reports.
The singer has announced on 18th September that he is about to release his new album names ‘Love Goes’ and recently released single dance anthem ‘Diamonds’ is the lead singer of the album. The album’s name was ‘To Die For’ but the name has been changed to ‘Love Goes’.
The music video ‘Diamonds’ is directed by Black Dog Films which features Sam Smith dancing alone in his house, on the grass.
The album is consists of 16 tracks. According to the singer, each song tells a different story. The upcoming album includes several of their previously released singles such as, ‘Dancing With a Stranger,’ ‘To Die For,’ etc.
“This album is a collection of songs I’ve written over the last two years,” Sam shared the note on Instagram. Sam has shared his feelings through these songs. He has also shared the stories of his lockdown times.
The album was originally scheduled back in May but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the album was postponed. The new release date is October 30.
