Root is located in the funky Wapping Wharf cargo container development. The small plate menu puts vegetables front and centre. Food is ‘british’ tapas with a twist- emphasis on vegetables but with meat and fish sides and good range of wines / beers at sensible prices. Staffs are friendly informative and good value for the quality of the cooking. It’s a great choice for a mixed group with some vegetarians. The vegetarian dishes are so good that they will also please the meat lovers.
