Review: Pub in the Park

Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park in Warwick’s St Nicolas Park, was a weekend of food, drink and music, following his philosophy of his pub the Hand and the Flowers – good quality with a relaxed atmosphere for everyone.
The size of the festival perfectly fits the setting. The food is highlighted by the chef regaling tales from his cooking for presidents, to the Great British Menu, with a little bit of help from Tom’s son adding to the fun behind the stove at the chef’s demonstrations.
Local pubs were represented, along with the more famous establishments, and other well-known chefs were there including Atul Kochhar and Angela Hartnett.

In terms of music there was a little bit for everyone, from the still classy The Christians to the matured music of Will Young.
