Sony has recently showcases their PS5 and have done a pretty good job. Smaller events have popped out here and there offering developers a digital platform to showcase their games. Bethesda noted that they didn’t think it was possible to “ “complete the work and planning with partners, vendors, volunteers, and others that is required to make QuakeCon a success” with the appropriate social distancing measurements in place”.

The show is expected to be slower this year in term of reveals as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic negatively impacting the development and release schedules of the company. Some of the Bethesda’s upcoming games such as Ghostwire: Tokyo and Deathloop and announced to be launched during the event. The show may also feature DLC for Doom Eternal. Bethesda is also working on Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI which are expected to be launched in the near future.
