Poetry marathon

Where> St. Mark’s Church, Bowery, NY
What> Featuring 140 poets read works until after midnight at New Year’s Day Marathon Benefit Reading, the event will celebrate intellectual night. The Marathon presents a diverse range of poetry styles -academics, slam poets, students from local creative writing programs, and everyone in between rubs elbows during 17 hours of poetry programming. Each poet is given a brief times lot to share their work with the audience.
