Although the artist took his final breath at the very early age of 28 years, his original artworks established him as one of the finest painters of the early 1900s. To celebrate this great artist and his enchanting artworks, the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art is hosting a mesmerizing art exhibition in his honor. The museum has borrowed 50 of the artist’s finest artworks from the Leopold Museum of Vienna for the exhibition. The art event celebrates the courageous women who explored outside domestic life to embrace outdoor activities along with their participation in the world of sports. CECILIA VICUÑA: BRAIN FOREST QUIPU at Tate Modern

Cecilia Vicuna: Brain Forest Quipi is a stunning art event that displays a multi-part installation by combining sculpture, video, sound, and music. At the center of this exhibition, there are two 27-meter-long sculptures hung from the ceiling that are woven together by various organic materials. And there is a lot more in the exhibition that will take hours to tell (check out the video). Moreover, the purpose of this exhibition is to create awareness among people about forest destruction, the threat of climate change, and the violence against indigenous societies. The artist attempted to inspire the audience to stand up and begin the process of repair through her artworks. So check out this fascinating event and experience something truly magical.
