Netflix’s fan-favorite sci-fi Tv series Sense8 is wrapping up their show with two hours of a series finale special episode, the streaming giant announced on Tuesday.
With the tagline of “Together Until The End”, Netflix released key art for the series finale which will launch globally on Netflix on June 8.
The sci-fi show which was created by The Wachowski siblings and J. Michael Straczynski, debuted in 2015 and ran for two seasons before its cancellation but fans across the world set out to campaign for a third and final season or at the very least a worthy conclusion to the show.
“In this world it is easy to believe that you cannot make a difference, that when a government or an institution or corporation makes a decision, there is something irrevocable about the decision that love is always less important than the bottom line”, wrote co-creator Lana Wachowski “While it is often true those decisions are irreversible, it is not always true.”
The series which tells the story of a cluster of eight people across the globe connected by their thoughts and actions is going to have a happy ending as vice president of Netflix for original content, Cindy Holland, has previously promised that the last episode will be a “fantastic, fitting conclusion” for fans.
