Combining all the best bits from ska and punk Millie Manders And The Shut Up are shaking music from the foundations in the same way that Korn and Lady Leshurr have done in recent decades. This four track EP is just a taste of what this band are all about. Socially aware lyrics are laid out over the top of compositions that sound raw but are written in a cerebral way. The audio delight of hearing brass instruments punch hard in an urban music landscape marks this release out as something of a watershed moment. A full album must surely be the next logical step.
