Enola Holmes star Millie Bobby Brown is going to team up with Russo Brother for their upcoming project The Electric State. Puza Snigdha reports.
The Electric State is a sci-fi film by Universal Pictures and the Russo Brothers will direct the film. The brothers will also be working with writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The same team wrote Infinity War and Endgame.
The film is an adaptation of Simon Stalenhag’s graphic novel The Electric State where the 16-year-old Millie Bobby Brown will play the lead character.
The Electric State is set in an alternate future which follows a teenage girl who teams up with a strange robot to find her missing brother and uncovers a massive conspiracy.
Reportedly, Universal Pictures has decided on a theatrical release for the film.
“We’re thrilled to have this deal with Universal who has committed to a theatrical release of Electric State,” said the Russos.
“This is also a positive sign that, as vaccines become available, the theatrical market is returning.”
The film has been in development since 2017 under the direction of Andy Muschietti. He gave up and got busy with Warner Bros.’ “Flash” movie.
The film has not given any release date yet.
However, Millie Bobby Brown is now busy with the the fourth season of Stranger Things. She also recently appeared in Netflix’s Enola Holmes.
